My idea to improve this place

Sep102016

Remove the Mangroves along the river

So that people could...

Remove the mangroves and build retaining wall along the river around George Kendall Riverside Park, so that people can enjoy the water view while they’re at the park. This also help reduce the number of mosquitoes during the summer time because at the moment people are avoiding the park after sunset during the summer. In the summer the park will be infested with mosquitoes.

Because I want Ermington to be...

Cleaner and healthier city.

Those Mangroves are part of the natural ecosystem of the area, they provide shelter and saftey for native fish young, and are essential in avoiding errosion, not to mention they hold nests for local birds and in my opinion are quite magical to walk through
