My idea to improve this place

Apr032017

Have Northern and Southern entry/exit points to Epping Station

So that people could...

Move to and from Epping Station without impacting on traffic and creating unnecessary pedestrian conjestion (see attached image). A northern entry/exit would accommodate for the residents of the high density areas on the north-west (Cliff Rd/Ray Rd/Carlingford Rd) and north-east (Cambridge St/Chester St) areas. Similarly, the southern entry exit would accommodate for the south-east high density areas (Epping Rd, Forest Rd, Blaxland Rd). With the large amount of people moving to Epping we need to allow residents of these areas to move in and out of the station efficiently, otherwise the volume of residents will further worsen intersections at Epping (i.e. Rawson St/Ray Rd/Carlingford Rd and the Epping/Blaxland Rd intersections).

Because I want Epping to be...

Accommodate for the increases in population without the flow on effects of pedestrian congestion in and out of the station. Allowing residents to get to and from the station with minimal impact on major road intersections.
