My idea to improve this place

EPPING road bypass

So that people could...

Lift traffic off EPPING and beecroft road whom not going to EPPING. Most open space within the area are not within walking catchments from one side to another. Driving across to the other side to use the library and/or the pool and open spaces talks too long as traffic are very heavy.

Because I want Epping to be...

Many developed town centres are connect by walk/bike and by short drives to local community places. Chatswood, Rhodes are all one with well connected bridges/roads and paths, heavy traffic going through add no value to the community. EPPING road bypass can help connecting the one community.

Agree, urban planning article I once read: said traffic should go around town centre and never through it. otherwise a town will not have a discernible centre or character. It sometimes feels likes Epping 'centre' is split in two, one half on Rawson street, and other half along Oxford street. Walkability and Bikeabiliity is really important. Great points!
